RG/BSX Index plunges

The RG/BSX Index fell 107.28 points (4.05 per cent) to close at 2,541.07 in light trading.
The Bank of Butterfield fell $2.00 to close at $36 after the sale of 355 shares.
On the New York Stock Exchange, Butterfield rose 48 cents to close at $36.60.
