Bank’s earnings release boosts share price

The RG/BSX Index climbed 80.46 (3.13 per cent) as 1,572 Bank of N.T. Butterfield Ltd. shares traded, and the price closing at $39.50, up $1.50 (3.9 per cent) on the day.
The bank also took advantage of its positive earnings release Monday with its share price on the New York Stock Exchange rising by $3.33 (8.89 per cent) to close at $40.79.
