Butterfield jumps forward on BSX and NYSE

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index jumped 86.72 (3.5 per cent) higher to 2,565.74 for the day, powered by trading of Bank of N.T. Butterfield Ltd., up $1.75 (5 per cent) to $37 on a volume of 5,687.
Also trading on the Bermuda Stock Exchange was Argus Group Holdings Ltd. which finished at $6.10, down 30 cents or 4.7 per cent.
For the week, the BSX was up 70.74 (2.75 per cent), with one winner and two losers.
On the New York Stock Exchange, Butterfield finished 97 cents ahead (2.63 per cent) at $37.86.
The BSX finished up 2.75 per cent for the week , with one winner and two losers.
