Bank shares rise 29 cents on the NYSE

The RG/BSX Index closed down 0.24 of a point (0.01 per cent) to 2,196.92, with two issues trading and one declining.
The decliner was Argus Group Holdings Ltd., falling a penny (0.2 per cent) to $6.30 on a volume of 1,300.
BF&M Ltd remained at $18.05 after 1,350 shares traded.
Meanwhile, there was good news for the Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited, rising 29 cents (0.94 per cent) to close at $31.30 on the New York Stock Exchange.
With two issues trading, the RG/BSX Index closed down 0.01 per cent
