Bank stocks fly 3.53% higher

The RG/BSX Index fell 0.39 (0.2 per cent) to close at 2,230.73 after 400 shares of Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd traded and the issue closed down 25 cents (5.0 per cent) at $4.75.
There was no further trading on the Bermuda Stock Exchange for the day.
It brought the exchange down 2.90 (0.13 per cent) for a week in which declines outpaced advances four to one.
In New York, The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited finished up $1.12 (3.53 per cent) at $32.87 at the close on the New York Stock Exchange.
