Bank shares down 1.45% on NYSE

The RG/BSX Index finished at 2,456.38 points, up 53.63 points (2.23 per cent).
The only active issue was Bank of N.T. Butterfield Ltd with 1,400 shares trading, and closing at $34.00, up a dollar (three per cent).
On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank was down 49 cents (1.45 per cent), closing at $33.20.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index rose by 2.23 per cent
