Bank share price falls on NYSE
With a total trade volume of just 1,354 shares valued at $44,592.10 on the Bermuda Stock Exchange, the RG/BSX Index closed unchanged for the week, without the benefit of a Friday session.
The market was open Thursday, but there was no activity..
The week’s share volume represented the trading of one issue, Bank of N.T. Butterfield Ltd. which closed unchanged at $33.00.
There was more movement for Butterfield on the New York Stock Exchange, as its share price fell 74 cents or 2.16 per cent to $33.59 at Thursday’s close.
Due to the approach of Hurricane Fiona, the Bermuda Stock Exchange said Thursday the exchange and the market would be closed on Friday 23 September 2022, and as a result, Friday would not be a trading or settlement day.
The BSX anticipated that it will re-open for business at 8:30am. Monday, 26 September 2022 and the market will re-open at its usual time of 9:00am.
