The RG/BSX rose 9.41 (0.39 per cent) to 2,432.80, driven higher by trading in a single transportation stock.
Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd rose $1.70 (161.9 per cent) to close at $2.75 on trading of 360 shares.
Meanwhile, on the New York Stock Exchange, The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited fell 33 cents (0.99 per cent) to $33.13 at the end of the day.
