Bank shares finish higher in Tuesday trading

Buoyed by trading of the Bank of N.T. Butterfield Ltd, the RG/BSX Index rose 26.82 points (1.15 per cent) to close at 2,356.63.
Butterfield finished the day on the Bermuda Stock Exchange at $32.50, up 50 cents (1.6 per cent) on trading of 1,115 shares.
On the New York Stock Exchange, Butterfield closed up 41 cents (1.27 per cent) at $32.76.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index rose 1.15 per cent to close at 2,356.63
