Bank shares move higher

The RG/BSX Index rose 26.82 points (1.14 per cent) to 2,383.44, moved higher by the Bank of N.T. Butterfield Ltd. which rose 50 cents (1.5 per cent) to $33.00 after 1,170 shares changed hands on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
The bank stock rose 46 cents (1.38 per cent) to $33.78 on the New York Stock Exchange.
Bank boost: Butterfield shares moved higher on both the New York Stock Exchange and the Bermuda Stock Exchange, as the BSX rose 1.14 per cent.
