Bank ends the day lower on the NYSE

The RG/ BSX Index jumped 53.63 points (2.27 per cent) to close at 2,413.97, driven by the trading of 3,076 shares of Bank of N.T. Butterfield Ltd., which closed up a dollar (3.0 per cent) at $34 at the close of the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
No other issues traded.
On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank finished the day 20 cents (0.57 per cent) lower at $34.80.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index rose 53.63 points or 2.27 per cent for the day
