Butterfield finished higher on the NYSE

The RG/BSX Index fell 26.82 (1.11 per cent) to 2,392.40 on Monday, dragged down by Bank of N.T. Butterfield Ltd. which closed down 50 cents (1.50 per cent) at $33.50, after 1,000 shares traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
The only other trading on the BSX on Monday involved 1,000 shares of BF&M, leaving the issue unchanged at $21.
Overseas, Butterfield stock rose 37 cents (1.10 per cent) to $34.15 on the New York Stock Exchange.
