Bank stock closes down on NYSE

The RG/BSX Index rose 5.74 points (0.24 per cent) to 2,424.96 as Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd stock jumped by $3.70 or 86 per cent to close at 8.00 after a block of 15,000 shares changed hands on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
The only other movement Wednesday was 700 shares of Argus Group Holdings trading, as the stock closed unchanged at $5.67.
The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited was down 69 cents (2.05 per cent) at $32.91 at the close of the New York Stock Exchange.
Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd. stock rose $3.70 or 86 per cent to close at 8.00 as the Royal Gazette/BSX Index rose by 0.24 per cent to 2,424.96
