Butterfield trades higher on NYSE

The RG/BSX Index was unchanged yesterday, but finished 214.53 points (8.4 per cent) higher to 2,553.74 for the week, boosted by Bank of N.T. Butterfield Ltd., which gained $4 (12.3 per cent) over the five trading days to close at $36.50 on the trading of 7,104 shares on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
The only other trading during the week was 116 shares of Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd.
No shares changed hands on the BSX on on Friday.
Meanwhile, on Friday Butterfield’s US-listed shares finished 20 cents higher (0.54 per cent) at $37, on the New York Stock Exchange.
