Butterfield edges down on NYSE

Butterfield Bank closed down 11 cents at 35.89 on the New York Stock Exchange today as it dropped value on a day when many stocks rose.

Butterfield saw 150,748 shares trade as the stock continued to slip from a high of $38 in mid-February as US stocks generally retreated.

No stocks traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange which was unchanged at 2,533.66.
