BSX closes down as Butterfield, Argus trade

Up and down: Bank of Butterfield closed up on the New York Stock Exchange, but weakened on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index closed down 3.16 per cent after trading took place on the Exchange for the first time all week.
The Index closed down 79.97 points to 2453.69 on volume of 23,218 shares worth $279,320.
Bank of Butterfield closed down $1.50 or 4.1 per cent to $35 on volume of 5,018 shares. On the New York Stock exchange, it closed up 60 cents at $35.90 on volume of 177,742, reversing several days of declines.
Also on the BSX, Argus closed up two cents to $5.70 on volume of 18,200 shares.
