Some 150 shares of the Bank of NT Butterfield & Son changed hands for a turnover of $4,350.
The bank closed at $29, down a dollar (3.3 per cent) on the day.
Overseas, the bank closed up 44 cents (1.64 per cent) at $27.20 on the New York Stock Exchange.
