Butterfield finishes higher on the NYSE

The Bermuda Stock Exchange closed 88.27 points or 4.18 per cent down for the week
The RG/BSX Index fell 88.27 points (4.18 per cent) for the week to 2,111.10 on a share volume of 16,800 and turnover of $264,395.
The decline for the week was led by Bank of N.T. Butterfield Ltd which fell $2 (6.7 per cent) to close at $28 after trading of 2,100 shares.
The only other active stock included Argus Group Holdings Ltd, which rose a nickel (0.9 per cent) to $5.55 on trading of 7,300 shares; and, BF&M Ltd. which rose $1.95 (9.8 per cent) to close at $21.95 on volume of 7,400 shares.
Meanwhile, on the New York Stock Exchange, Butterfield rose 49 cents (1.94 per cent) to close at $25.73, after more than a half a million shares traded.
The bank has announced a cash dividend of 44 cents per cent with an ex-dividend date of May 5, 2023.
