Two thousand shares in Bank of NT Butterfield Ltd changed hands on the Bermuda Stock Exchange. The stock closed at $26, up $1.40 (5.7 per cent).
Overseas, the bank closed up four cents (0.16 per cent) at $25.30 on the New York Stock Exchange.
