Bank share price buoys on NYSE

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index fell 6.80 per cent for the week
The RG/BSX Index was down 8.67 points (0.45 per cent) for the day Friday, and fell 129.43 (6.80 per cent) for the week, closing at 1,901.50 after three quarters of a million dollars in shares were traded.
The decline was led by Butterfield Bank which finished at $24.05, down $1.85 (7.1 per cent) as 5,000 bank shares sold during the week.
But insurance stocks dominated activity as Argus Group Holdings Ltd finished a nickel higher at (0.8 per cent) at $6.20 after 74,600 shares changed hands.
Meanwhile, BF&M fell $3.44 (14 per cent) to $21.05 on trade of 5,600 shares.
Butterfield finished 54 cents (2.09 per cent) higher at $26.32 on the New York Stock Exchange.
