The RG/BSX Index was up 26.45 points (1.27 per cent) on Tuesday, closing at 2116.62.
LOM Financial saw the most activity, with 25,000 shares trading to close at $5.45, up 0.9 per cent.
Butterfield Bank also saw 143 shares move to close at $27.50, up 1.9 per cent.
There was a total turnover of $140,909.89.
On the New York Stock Exchange, Butterfield closed down 22 cents (0.87 per cent), ending the day at $27.28 with 150,637 shares trading.
