Some 3,500 shares in Bank of NT Butterfield Ltd changed hands on the Bermuda Stock Exchange. The stock closed at $28.50, up a dollar (3.6 per cent).
Overseas, Butterfield Bank closed up 58 cents (2.00 per cent) at $29.53 on the New York Stock Exchange.
