The RG/BSX Index remained idle on the last trading day of the year, ending a week in which 29,394 shares ($235,205.05) were traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange, moving the index up 29.20 to close at 2,370.71.
For the week, activity included Bank of N.T. Butterfield Ltd rising 50 cents (1.6 per cent) to $32 on a volume of 1,200 shares.
Also moving were insurance stocks, including Argus Group Holdings Ltd, up ten cents (1.6 per cent) to $6.40, after 28,119 shares changed hands.
There was no movement in the share price after 75 BF&M shares traded.
Meanwhile, The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited fell 61 cents (1.87) for the day to close $32.01 on the New York Stock Exchange.
