The RG/BSX Index closed on Tuesday at 2,264.83, up 18.26 points (0.81 per cent).
Some 1,000 shares in BF&M Ltd changed hands on the Bermuda Stock Exchange. The stock closed at $25.01, up two dollars (8.7 per cent).
Also on the BSX, 713 shares in Bank of NT Butterfield Ltd were traded. The stock closed unchanged at $30.
Overseas, Butterfield Bank closed up 38 cents (1.27 per cent) at $30.36 on the New York Stock Exchange.
