Some 1,453 shares in Bank of NT Butterfield Ltd changed hands on the Bermuda Stock Exchange. The stock closed at $31.50, up $1.49 (5.0 per cent).
Overseas, Butterfield Bank closed down 11 cents (0.35 per cent) at $31.27 on the New York Stock Exchange.
