The RG/BSX Index closed on Friday at 2,425.67, up 147.49 points (6.47 per cent).
Three hundred shares in Bank of NT Butterfield Ltd changed hands on the Bermuda Stock Exchange. The stock closed at $33, up $2.75 (9.1 per cent).
For the week, the Index was up 143.02 points (5.89 per cent) on share volume of 1,200 (Bermuda) and 10,000 (US) and total turnover of $33,975 (Bermuda) and $50,000 (US).
Overseas, Butterfield Bank closed down 6 cents (0.18 per cent) at $34.06 on the New York Stock Exchange.
