Bank rises on NYSE

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index finished 53.65 higher at 2,479.31
The RG/BSX Index moved 53.65 points (2.21 per cent) higher to close at 2,479.31 as Bermuda dollar share volume of 2,949 was valued at $46,672.70.
Butterfield Bank was a dollar (3 per cent) higher at $34.00 after the trading of 1,049 shares.
Argus Group Holdings Ltd finished unchanged at $6.30 on a volume of 1,900 shares.
On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank shares finished 29 cents (0.83 per cent) at $35.22.
