Bermuda Stock Exchange approves KompiTech listing
KompiTech Alliance Ltd has listed almost 385 million in common shares, after being newly admitted to the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
The listing comes after the IT management firm partnered with mergers and acquisitions company Alliance Group Ltd to form a new investment holding company in Bermuda last year.
“We are excited to have Bermuda as our chosen location to build a conglomerate of IT companies to generate accretive shareholder value for all,” Alliance chief executive Anthony O’Leary said.
The listing was pivotal for Greg Erhahon, the chief executive of KompiTech. “This will accelerate our innovation pipeline and extend our global reach, delivering value to our shareholders and customers,” he said.
A group from KompiTech Alliance Ltd met at Exchange House on Pitts Bay Road in Hamilton yesterday for the traditional bell ringing to welcome new firms to the BSX.
“We are delighted to welcome KompiTech Alliance Ltd to listing on the Bermuda Stock Exchange,” BSX chief executive Greg Wojciechowski said. “They join more than 1,350 securities that have chosen the BSX as their international listings venue of choice.”
KompiTech said this marked a new chapter in its journey, enhancing its accessibility and visibility to investors globally.
Operating subsidiaries KompiTech GmbH and KompiTech s.r.o. were established in 2013. Last year, they launched their field service tech platform, an online marketplace for IT service management.
The firm provides businesses with support, maintenance and security expertise for tech infrastructure. Its customer base is in Europe but they are hoping to expand outward.
“It is getting more competitive in Europe,” Mr Erhahon said.
Mr O’Leary said KompiTech was in an extremely fragmented industry. “They will be focusing on internal growth strategy,” he said.
“Alliance will be implementing an external mergers and acquisitions growth strategy. We are thrilled to support KompiTech in their dynamic entry to the BSX, a pivotal step that will amplify their growth strategies and elevate their market presence.”
The listing was sponsored by First Bermuda Securities Ltd, who played a crucial role in navigating the process and ensuring a successful listing.
Kimberly Gibson, the chief executive of First Bermuda Securities, said: “KompiTech’s choice to list in Bermuda is a reflection of Bermuda’s commitment to playing a significant role in the world’s dynamic technology industry.”
