Some 11,900 shares in BF&M Ltd changed hands on the Bermuda Stock Exchange. The stock closed at $24, up a dollar (4.3 per cent).
Overseas, Butterfield Bank closed up 20 cents (0.59 per cent) at $34.34 on the New York Stock Exchange.
