Bank finishes higher on the NYSE

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was down 18.17 points
The RG/BSX fell 53.64 (2.14 per cent) 2457.34 on a share volume of 650 ($19,550).
Butterfield Bank closed the day at $35, down a dollar (2.8 per cent) as 150 shares crossed the ledger on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
The only other issue trading was Watlington Waterworks (500 shares), closing unchanged at $29.
Butterfield Bank finished 13 cents (0.35 per cent) higher at $36.88 on the New York Stock Exchange.
