The RG/BSX Index finished down 77.77 points (2.96 per cent) to close at 2,553.20 on Tuesday on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
Only Butterfield Bank saw activity with 681 shares changing hands to stop at $37.05, down $1.45 (3.8 per cent).
The turnover was $25,194.14.
On the New York Stock Exchange, Butterfield ended the day at $37.88, up 21 cents (0.56 per cent) with a volume of 95,886.
