455,000 shares traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange
The RG/BSX Index fell 75.55 points, or 2.95 per cent, to 2,488.44 today, based on the trading of 12,500 shares of Butterfield Bank. The company fell $1.35 (3.5 per cent) to close at $36.40.
There was no other trading on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
On the New York Stock Exchange, Butterfield Bank fell 37 cents or 0.99 per cent, with 156,157 shares changing hands.
