My main responsibilities at work include teaching golf, booking and checking in guests and members for golf rounds, order and process merchandise for the pro shop.What is your favourite part of the job? I really enjoy the merchandising responsibilities. It's great to be able to pick out everything at the PGA merchandise show and track it to the Island, process the goods and get them on our shelves for our members and guests. Another part of the job that I enjoy is teaching. Golf has always been an integral part of my life and it is great to bring more people into the game and to give back.What is your least favourite part of the job? The least enjoyable part of the job can be the long scheduled weeks when the course is extremely busy and working on holidays.What is your most interesting experience at work? My favourite experience thus far was attending the PGA merchandise show for the first time earlier this year. It was an incredible experience to meet all of our vendors face to face, do our ordering for the summer and fall as well as meet so many other great people in the field.What would you be doing otherwise? I'm currently pursuing my MBA online and I'm looking forward to the opportunities that will arise upon completing my degree.
