I'm a Banking Specialist and what I do is develop client relationships by providing a personalised one-stop-shop for financial solutions. I assist clients in identifying their financial needs and then provide the appropriate solutions, such as; opening accounts, facilitating, consumer loans, overdrafts mortgages, credit cards, insurance, electronic channels and investment, HSBC advance and premier opportunities. In addition to assisting clients that come to the Harbourview Centre I also meet with our corporate employee banking partners one-on-one at their place of business in order to; again, provide a very personal banking experience.What is your favourite part of the job? What I most enjoy about the job is the variety of clients I meet and assist. My job is interesting and challenging in that it's never the same day-to-day; every client brings something new and different. I feel that what I am providing to my clients is a life enhancement through financial solutions and it's gratifying to see that I have helped make their life easier or better in some way.What is your least favourite part of the job? Not being able to please all customers, all the time.What is your most interesting experience at work? I think my most interesting experience was a client that was sure he had secured his spaceships in our safe deposit vault. I was understandably quite amazed, but still had to assist him with his request in a respectful and courteous manner. In the end, he was happy and his spaceships were still secure.What would you be doing otherwise? I would love to retire and enjoy life to the fullest, shopping around the clock, playing tennis on my personal tennis courts and hosting afternoon tea parties. I would also like to do volunteer work to give back to my community.
