Booster shot: The power of good habits
Habits. This past week, Steven Covey, the author of “7 Habits of Highly Effective People” passed away. His legacy is his effort to help people understand what it takes to make the most of what you have and your ability to do it. I believe that two of the most important habits to take from his efforts are:1. Be proactive take charge and be a make it happen person so that you are a victor and not a victim.2. Always start with the end in mind that is, set your goals so that you stay on a track to reach the kind of life you wish to have. If you have not taken the time to read this book I highly recommend that you do. You will get great insight into yourself and what you may be able to accomplish. Start building growth habits today.“I am personally convinced that one person can be a change catalyst, a “transformer” in any situation, any organisation. Such an individual is yeast that can leaven an entire loaf. It requires vision, initiative, patience, respect, persistence, courage, and faith to be a transforming leader.” - Steven R CoveyGo to the link below(paste into your browser) to hear Steven Covey at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8LM4C1l70UFor more information, visit the SBA website at www.smallbusinessadvisors.com , call 295-7832 or e-mail dhhills@ibl.bm.
