Teamwork. In the past few weeks and starting last week with the World Cup we are seeing very clearly how great teamwork makes the big difference! Whether it is the LA Kings in hockey, the Spurs in the NBA, and the World Cup it is apparent then when you take a group of skilled people and coach them well that you can achieve great results. The development of the team can best be described by the old adage, “The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.”(Aristotle)

The challenge for all of us, where it be a business, a family, a community, or a country is to build this attitude of teamwork so that the attainment of the goals and of the benefit to all of us comes into focus and can be achieved.

The rewards to all through teamwork are significant and all of us need to adopt this approach if we are to see the changes we need to continue to improve outcomes. So as we approach this week let’s commit to working with others to build the teams that will make all of us more effective, happier, and successful. Let’s make it more fun!
