Tickets for Teresa Perozzi’s upcoming WBA and WBC women’s middleweight unification championship bout against American Tori Nelson are now on sale at International Sports Shop and also online at Ptix.bm.Ringside seating for the October 13 ‘All or Nothing Championship Boxing’ event is $95 dollars while general admission is $65.The event will be held in the Poinciana Ball Room at Fairmont Southampton.Due to growing demand, organisers have urged boxing fans to purchase their tickets in advance before they sell out.“This will be one of the best events of the year with the double belts going up for grabs,” said an event spokesperson. “So we encourage people not to delay purchasing tickets to avoid disappointment.“Obviously this is something that has been in the works for months and people have been following Teresa and waiting patiently for tickets to go on sale and we expect them to sell out like it did in March (Teachers Fight Night).“We are going to have ten -fights in total so it will be a good and exciting night overall.”Southpaw Perozzi, who was due to fight an exhibition match for charity last night, landed the then vacant WBA women’s middleweight belt with a split decision win over American Lorissa Rivas in Trinidad last December. She then successfully defended her title with a unanimous points decision over Rivas’ compatriot April Ward on home soil last March. The mother-of-one, whose pro record stands at 9-4-1, is bidding to defend her WBA middleweight crown while vying for the vacant WBC middleweight belt in her upcoming championship bout with the orthodox Nelson.Nelson was forced to vacate her WBC middleweight belt earlier this year after failing to defend it. The American landed the WBC crown after beating compatriot Rivas in Trinidad last year. The mother-of-two has yet to be beaten as a pro and is currently the top ranked women’s boxer in the United States and third in the world. She is also the reigning WIBA middleweight champion, a title she claimed via a unanimous points decision against veteran Vashon Living in her native Virginia earlier this year.Other locals scheduled to fight on the undercard include kickboxers Sentwali Woolridge, Samir Furquan, Jeron Gunness and Reyel Bowen.Event organisers are currently finalising the undercard which will include as many as four amateur boxing bouts.
