Andre Lambe and Tyler Christopher prepare for ring returns
Bermuda professional boxers Andre Lambe and Tyler Christopher are preparing to step back in the ring next month.
Having successfully retained his American Boxing Organisation regional welterweight title against Bryan Springs last month in Cleveland, Texas, Lambe will be back on home soil as he puts his belt on the line again against Mexican Sergio Herrera in a six-round bout at The Shed in Dockyard on October 28.
Lambe, 28, who also holds the American Boxing Federation regional welterweight title, will be aiming to maintain his flawless record among the paid ranks, which was extended to nine victories with the unanimous decision over Spriggs.
Meanwhile, 26-year-old Herrera has won seven of nine professional bouts, including four by knockout, and comes into the bout on the back of three successive victories, including a technical knockout against Canadian Adrian Bembridge in his last fight in March.
Elsewhere, Christopher will be making a long-awaited return to action as part of the card at the H Suite in Birmingham, England, on October 21.
The 27-year-old, who does not have an opponent confirmed, has not fought since stopping Justin Menzie in a dominant display back in April.
Christopher, who dropped his opponent in the second round before he retired on his seat before the start of the third, extended his perfect professional record to 7-0.
