Rosewood Bermuda promotes Lottimore
Rosewood Bermuda has promoted Sonina Lottimore to director of talent and culture.
In this role, Bermudian Ms Lottimore will join the luxury resort’s executive committee and will be responsible for leading the talent and culture team, overseeing recruitment, employee relations and the human resources department.
Ms Lottimore has been an employee of the resort for 16 years, having joined in 2004 as a receptionist at Tucker’s Point Club.
She swiftly climbed the ranks and was eventually promoted to the human resources department in 2008 where worked as HR administrator and HR coordinator.
During her time in HR, Ms Lottimore focused on bettering the work environment of her colleagues and associates and in turn the overall guest experience, Rosewood said in a statement.
Sascha Hemmann, managing director of Rosewood Bermuda, said: “Throughout the years, Sonina has developed into someone who we can confidently call a loyal and unbreakable Ambassador of Rosewood Bermuda,” said . “Her unstoppable passion and dedication have stood out throughout one of the most difficult periods for Rosewood Bermuda, including a worldwide pandemic.”
Ms Lottimore said: “This opportunity was a long-term career goal of mine and I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to demonstrate my abilities and leadership.

Ms Lottimore attended Bermuda College and completed the prestigious three-year Manage Mentor Management Programme at Harvard Business School in 2018.
