RG/BSX Index rises

The RG/BSX Index closed 10.01 higher (0.40 per cent) at 2,502.09 on volume of 230,700.
Butterfield Bank share boost
The BSX/Insurance Index rose 27.81 (1.60 per cent) at 1770.90.
The Bank of Butterfield closed up 36 cents (1.04 per cent) at $35.13 on the New York Stock Exchange.
