Ms Forde is from New Zealand, embracing her latest posting as an opportunity to have a different experience exploring an unfamiliar part of the world.

She said: “Bermuda appealed to me because of the high-quality legal work together with being a beautiful island.

“I knew I wanted to work at Appleby not only because of its stellar offshore reputation, but also because all of the staff I met with during the interview process were incredibly warm and professional.

“I have a background in tax, banking and finance and corporate law so working within the corporate team is a perfect match to my skill set. I am very excited to be part of the team.”

Brad Adderley, Bermuda managing partner, stated: “We are delighted to welcome Jane back to her first home at Appleby, and to welcome Hailee to Bermuda and our growing legal team.
