Schroders to host Bermuda Investment Seminar
Technology professional Aaron Smith and investment veteran Caspar Rock headline Schroders (Bermuda) Limited - Wealth Management’s Bermuda Investment Seminar on Friday morning at Wellesley House on Pitts Bay Road.
With seating limited to 70, attendance is on a first-registered basis.
Mr Rock, the chief investment officer – Wealth Management, Schroders in London, will provide his current investment views and a 2024 outlook.
Mr Smith with the Bermuda Clarity Institute is an AI certified trainer and will make a presentation on demystifying AI.
Mr Rock’s role with Schroders involves responsibility for Cazenove Invest Fund Management Ltd's global investment strategy. He joined Schroders in 2016 and is based in London.
He was chief investment officer at Architas from 2011 to 2016, which involved responsibility for all aspects of the investment activities, including investment philosophy, process and team.
Mr Smith is an accomplished chief executive and business leader with demonstrated success in the technology and digital assets business sector, enhanced by recent certification as an AI trainer with the Vjal Institute.
The organisation is on a mission to train 1 million leaders across the world in person on AI, encouraging the positive impact on humanity and mitigating the downsides.
Mr Smith’s expertise extends to regulatory compliance, strategic planning and financial management, with a keen focus on creating business models that maximise stakeholder return on investment.
