Hamilton’s business leaders will gather for their annual meeting

The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce brings together business leaders for the 2025 annual meeting and luncheon, under the theme “Fighting Together for a Stronger Economy.”

Two major events will tackle vital economic and business issues, ensuring that Bermuda’s business community stays informed and connected.

The 2025 AGM and Luncheon is on April 24 at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club. Sponsored by KPMG in Bermuda, it will bring together business leaders, policymakers and professionals to discuss the critical issues shaping Bermuda’s economic future.

Topics include “The Data — Unintended Consequences and Inconvenient Truths”.

The meeting will include a brief overview of chamber business and priorities for 2025-26; a deep dive into how global political shifts impact Bermuda’s economic landscape; and, input from the delegates on topics that need to be taken to “the powers that be”.

The chamber said: “Reflecting on the data presented at the 2024 Budget Breakfast, attendees will have the opportunity to discuss the information, share their ideas and present solutions — no media, no recordings … uncensored”.

The speakers include Stefano Moritsch, global geopolitics lead at KPMG International, who will provide insights into the geopolitical developments of which local business leaders need to be aware.

Also Marico Thomas, Bermuda Chamber of Commerce president, will address the pressing economic realities facing local businesses.
