Registration opened for the Bermuda Risk Summit 2022, helping to cement Bermuda’s reputation as a global risk capital.

The summit, organised by the Bermuda Business Development Agency, will run from March 14 to 16 at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club attended by more than 200 delegates.

The theme is Complex Risk — Simple Solutions, and will include three half-days of morning panels, round-table discussions, lunch presentations and networking opportunities.

The aim is to showcase Bermuda’s globally prominent reinsurance market, cement Bermuda’s position as the world’s risk capital and also continue to build momentum around Bermuda’s goals for climate-risk finance.

Online website The Insurer said yesterday: “The mid-March timing, as the midyear US cat-focused reinsurance renewal nears, looks to be a savvy move to differentiate the event from the autumn conferences that set the tone for the 1 January reinsurance renewal.”

The risk summit is $295 a ticket.
