A man suffered head and neck injuries after attempting to ride a motorcycle down a set of stairs at the weekend.

A police spokesman said police responded to a report of an accident near Lindo’s in Warwick.

He added: “It appears that the motorcycle rider rode down a flight of stairs adjacent to the building and lost control, which resulted in the male rider crashing his cycle. The rider received head and neck injuries and was conveyed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment. Inquiries into this incident are now under way.”

The incident happened about 5.30pm on Sunday.
