A 56-year-old motorcycle rider injured in a crash yesterday afternoon has been released from hospital.

The incident happened at the junction of Middle Road and Orange Valley Road, in Devonshire, at about 12.30pm.

A police spokesman said that the rider collided with a car as it turned on to Middle Road.

He added that the injured rider was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital where he was treated and later discharged.

No one else was hurt in the crash.
