Six people were arrested on suspicion of impaired driving over the Bermuda Day holiday weekend.
Three motorists were arrested at roadside breath-test checkpoints set up in six parishes from Thursday to Sunday.
Two more were arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after separate road crashes. A boater was also arrested on suspicion of being at the helm while impaired.
A police spokesman said no road breath-test checkpoints were scheduled for this weekend.
But he asked the public not to drive, ride or operate a boat while under the influence of alcohol for their safety and for the safety of others.
