A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning.

Police said that the 22-year-old man was riding on Crow Lane, Pembroke, when he struck a kerb near Corkscrew Hill at about 2.45am.

A police spokesman added: “The rider sustained multiple injuries — including head injuries — and was rushed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance.”

He said today that the rider was in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit
