A driver left the scene after a car crash at the weekend.

Police said they have been unable to trace the driver of the white SUV. A spokesman added it was not known if the car was carrying passengers or if anyone was injured.

The incident happened on South Road, near the junction with Warwick Lane, at about 11.45pm last Friday. Police have appealed for witnesses.
