Police appeal for witnesses to crashes
Police today renewed an appeal for witnesses after three crashes, two of them fatal and one which left two bike riders in hospital.
Marvin Lambe, 56, lost his life in a collision at the pedestrian crossing outside the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo on Tuesday.
Pc Nidra McKenzie-Simons, the investigating officer for the crash, appealed for anyone who might have seen another motorcyclist travelling with Mr Lambe before the 5.30pm crash, or who was with Mr Lambe earlier on Tuesday afternoon, to contact her.
She also asked for anyone with home or business CCTV footage from Flatts Village and the John Smith’s Bay area that could assist to come forward.

Pc Dennis Joell is investigating the collision that claimed the life of 81-year-old Eugene Thomas, the fourth road fatality of 2021.
The crash, at 5.47pm on Tuesday, occurred on South Road, Southampton, near the junction with Lighthouse Road.
The officer appealed to anyone who may have seen any other motorcyclists travelling with the 19-year-old male rider prior to the collision, to come forward, as well as anyone with home or business CCTV footage that may have captured the incident.

A BPS family liaison officer is giving support to the families of Mr Lambe and Mr Thomas.
Pc Thomas Senior is investigating the collision between two motorcycles at 6pm on Tuesday at the junction of South Road and Devonshire Bay Road, that involved a 21-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man.
